Ambassador Bryan Hunt is in Bo for the next couple of days. The Ambassador has already met with the Resident Minister South, Mayor of Bo City, the District Council Chairman and the Paramount Chief of Kakua Chiefdom. They discussed the importance of ensuring that local government is inclusive and responsive to citizens in building national unity.
The Ambassador also met with the leadership of both the APC and the SLPP in Bo and emphasized to them the need for parties to build constructive working relationships to foster national unity and cohesion and push democracy forward.
