The Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy in Sierra Leone is in charge of Press, Information, Cultural and Exchange Programs. It explains and advocates U.S. policy, facilitates media and cultural relations, and advises the U.S. Embassy in Sierra Leone on issues of public diplomacy and public affairs. As an integral part of the U.S. Mission, the Public Affairs Section works closely with other sections of the American Embassy and with Sierra Leonean educational, cultural, press, and private institutions to strengthen the bilateral relationship.
Information and materials regarding studying in the USA can be found in the Dr. John Taylor Williams Library at the Embassy and at the American Corner in the Bo Regional Library. You can also make an appointment to discuss your own options. The Advisor is available on a daily basis or by appointment, Monday through Thursday, from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
