U.S. Government Partners to Train Healthcare Workers on New-born and Postnatal Care.

USAID is partnering with Concern Worldwide to train 165 healthcare workers ranging from volunteer assistants to midwives in nine health centers. The trainings are held on-site at health facilities to address the challenges and resources limitations that health care staff faces on a regular basis. Trained participants have expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn new skills and contribute to the survival and well-being of mothers and children
