The availability of essential medicines to patients is vital for Sierra Leone’s health system. Towards this goal, USAID is supporting Management Sciences for Health (MSH) through Systems for Improved Access to Pharmaceutical Services (SIAPS) to ensure that high quality medicines are reaching patients by providing leadership and development training for Directorate of Drugs and Medical Supplies (DDMS), District Health Management Teams (DHMTs), and the Directorate of Hospital and Laboratories. The leadership training equips healthcare workers with the skills to ensure the safety and integrity of Sierra Leone’s pharmaceutical sector.
